April marks the month long festival season here in Southern California. People from all around the country come to celebrate the music, art and community that influential artists bring to the stage in this desert-filled oasis. It has become one of the largest music festivals in the world, marking its 20th year! Just a scroll through Instagram shows you that festival attire is equally as important to these desert seekers: getting decked out in a display of Woodstock era bliss. Since Weekend 1 is already here, I put together last minute inspo pages to document trends you'll definitely see amongst the dust this year. A mix of bohemian, sporty, and edgy styles will meld together under the midnight sun in Coachella Valley. Get inspired and stay cool with these fashion and beauty guides!
1. Boho Babes: Fringe, lace and mesh are a bohemian girls go-to during festival season. Dawning cool, vintage-inspired looks from festivals of the past, but in a modern twist. No longer do you need to go to the gym to sport this casual, indie gear. Pair with a cool 90's fanny pack and some trainers and you're ready to hit every musician and party all day long!
3. Hair / Makeup / Accessories: No outfit at Coachella is complete without a star-studded ensemble of effortless hair and makeup! It's as good a time as any to go wild and inspirational to match your awesome aesthetic. Braids, ponies, and hair jewelry have sparkled at festivals throughout the past few years. And why not?
