Spring Makeup Routine

With Spring in full bloom, I try to have a pretty simple makeup routine. I've found that lighter coverage, soft colors, and fast application are my go-tos. I like the idea of a natural look for Spring because I'm always on the run!
Moisturizer + Foundation:
I never liked to feel that my makeup was caked on or looked really heavy. I've found that putting on a light moisturizer such as Pixi Flawless Beauty has been really light and easy. Also my daily moisturizer is great as well: Eucerin Daily Moisturizer. They seep into the pores and dries really quickly. Next, I'll use Nars Tinted Moisturizer as a base because of how light it feels on the skin and blends well.

Concealer + Powder:
Everyone has their own method of applying concealer, but I've found that the best for me is applying after my foundation. Using tinted moisturizer is great, but adding that extra layer of coverage keeps my skin tone even. My latest find has been Jeffree Star Magic Concealer. It's definitely full coverage and has a ton of colors for every skin tone! Once I found a product or brand that works for me, usually I'll try to stick with that brand. It Cosmetics CC+ Powder has given me a great finish to my base.

Bronzer + Blush:
One of my favorite parts of my makeup routine is bronzer and blush. I feel like this part of the technique brings the face to life. I usually use a pretty defined bronzer because I like the look of tanned skin. Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer has been my go-to recently because it stays on all day and goes on smooth. For my coloring, I've found that peach and warmer toned blushes work best. Currently I'm using Lauren Geller Baked Blush!

Eyeliner + Mascara:
Facial products are more important to me because of my sensitive skin, but eye products such as eyeliner and mascara are usually drugstore brands. For eyeliner I've been really liking Elf Eyeliner for a winged look. Mascara is similar, where Maybelline and Covergirl work just fine! Whenever I use these products, I always buy 'black brown' or 'mocha' rather than standard black. I've found that it's softer on my face and looks more natural.

Eyebrow Pencil + Gel:
Lastly, defining and shaping my eyebrows will complete the look! I've been using Elf Eyebrow Pencil because I like the rich texture and how it goes on, framing my face. To complete the brows, I'll use Anastasia Brow Gel to keep them in place.
What are your go-to's for makeup during Spring? How do you change up your routine with the seasons?
Xo, Claire
