New York launches the month long stint of Fashion Week's spread throughout the international fashion capitals of the world. Spring/Summer 2020 was in full swing this past week with models and celebrities alike enjoying and curating fashion from top designers including Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Christopher Kane and Burberry. Some designers' style were so inspiring, beautifully crafted and over-the-top, it made me feel like I could sit in a Venetian garden for tea. Large floral patterns and feminine silhouettes were part of the trend and I loved it! Here are some of my favorite looks from a few awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping designers.

Whenever I look at any fashion week, I always am drawn to the special craftsmanship of certain designers. Although there are many that are beautiful, the way a garment is made is what really stands out to me! (Maybe bc I’m a design major lol) When I think of Spring/Summer, I see over-the-top florals, bright colors, and flowy silhouettes. It may not be practical for the average person, but that’s what is so great about any fashion week. It doesn’t have to be conventional, it just shows off what the designer is capable of and I for one eat up the avant-garde, imaginative designs of this years' NYFW S/S 2020.
